Dress Shopping

The day after Thanksgiving, Savannah, her mom,two of her bridesmaids Carissa & Claire went shopping for "THE DRESS"!! They meet at a bridal boutique in Edmond, Oklahoma. Bella Rose. After trying several dresses...Savannah found the ONE!!
It is stunning and she looks so beautiful. Pictured are the girls standing outside Bella Rose after purchasing the dress. Savannah's smile is a mile wide!!

Location, Location, Location!

Savannah, her maid of honor
Claire and mom went in search of a very special location.

After researching ....looking...driving ....calling....
The perfect place was found.
Harn Homestead in Oklahoma City.

It has many years since Savannah and her Mom have
been to the Harn Homestead. When Savannah was
in grade school at Townsend Elementary in Del City,
they would go on fields to this location.

10 acres of beautiful trees, historical buildings and
landscaping seem to be the perfect fit for an outdoor wedding.

The barn will be the location of the reception that is

to follow the wedding. It is very spacious and has a
loft for any over flow.

The outside of the barn is just as appealing. To the left of
the barn doors there is a stage already set up for a band.

At this point Robby has not seen the location. He will be
moving back to Oklahoma within the week. As soon
as it possible Savannah will have him down there for final approval.

She Said Yes!!

On Sunday, November 9th, 2008
Robert Doland and Savannah Kay Sanders were official engaged.

He surprised her by flying in a week earlier than expected. During her weekly Sunday Chapter meeting at the Pi Phi House, he stunned her and about 100 or so of her sorority sisters with a small camera crew and a beautifully planned engagement proposal.
He dropped to one knee...and she said "YES"!

Congratulations to the future..
"Mr. and Mrs. Robert Doland"
